Using BadBefore

What the app does

BadBefore helps you record purchased goods, track dates and remember what to use first. Recognition may be incomplete or wrong. Confirm product details and dates against the packaging. The app cannot assess storage conditions or guarantee food safety.

Personal and shared use

Your device-local kitchen is free. Optional Plus features require a subscription and an account. Shared-kitchen members can change shared records; share only information you want those members to see. Keep a separate export of important records.

Subscriptions

The purchase screen shows the current App Store price and billing period before you confirm. Apple subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple account. Deleting a BadBefore account does not cancel billing. Manage or restore purchases in Manage Plus. Shared access depends on the current kitchen manager’s plan.

Account deletion

You may delete your account in the app. Shared records remain for other kitchen members, with administration transferred when necessary. If you are the last member, the kitchen is deleted. You can export the shared kitchen before leaving.
